First Defense Building Inspection serves homebuyers, sellers, investors, builders, and commercial property owners in Tucson and Southeastern Arizona, including Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Vail, Sonoita, Benson, Arizona City, Casa Grande, and Maricopa.

We inspect residential, new-construction, and commercial properties and follow Arizona Board of Technical Registration standards. Owner Kief Manning is a licensed Arizona BTR inspector (#76157), a licensed drone pilot, and a disaster relief inspector. Reports are digital, photo-documented, and written so buyers, sellers, agents, and contractors can act on them.

We inspect the major systems and the details that fail first in Southern Arizona: roofs and flashing after monsoon season, drainage, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pools and spas, and construction that was rushed to close.
